In the course, participants receive basic information about ADHD or ADD, their impact on everyday life, and treatment and support options. In addition, strategies are taught to cope better with stressful situations, improve communication with those affected, and protect one’s own mental health.
Another focus is on sharing experiences with others. In a protected setting, questions can be asked, challenges discussed and mutual support experienced. The aim of the course is to promote knowledge, confidence in how to act and self-care, and to reduce the burdens of everyday life.
The costs are covered by statutory health insurance as part of basic psychotherapeutic care.
This service is provided as part of basic psychotherapeutic care and is fully covered by statutory health insurance. A prerequisite is attending a psychotherapeutic consultation, during which the indication and expectations will be discussed.
